About VividLayers
A signage and logo company built for businesses that want to be noticed.
Who we are
VividLayers is a signage and logo company for businesses. You bring the building, the vehicle or the blank wall; we bring the design, the fabrication and the crew that puts it up. You stay focused on running your business while we take the sign from first idea to finished install.
We work with businesses only. That shapes everything about how we operate: we plan around opening dates, landlords, permits and brand standards, and we stay on a project from the first sketch to the final install.
VividLayers Printing is a signage and logo studio in Orlando, FL. We started it to give local businesses the kind of bold, consistent branding that is usually reserved for national chains: one team that designs, prints and installs, so what you approve on screen is what goes up on the wall. Bold by design is not a slogan to us. It is how every job gets done.
A good sign is built in layers: a mark, a design, a build and an install, each resting on the one before it. When one team is responsible for all four, the finished sign looks the way it did on the proof.

What you can expect from us
Business only
We work with companies, not one-off personal orders, so everything is planned around opening dates, landlords, brand standards and budgets.
Logo and sign under one roof
The people who draw your logo are the people who know how it will be cut, lit and mounted. Nothing gets lost between a designer and a sign shop.
You see it before we build it
Every project gets a proof showing the sign to scale on a photo of your own space. You approve it in writing before production starts.
One point of contact
The person who quotes your project stays on it through design, production and install, and tells you where things stand.
How a project runs
Four steps, one team
Brief
Tell us about the space, the deadline and the budget. We ask questions, look at photos or visit the site, and send an itemized quote.
Design
Logo work if you need it, then a proof that shows the sign to scale on your actual building, with sizes, colours and materials called out.
Build
Once you approve the proof, we print, cut and fabricate. Nothing is produced before approval, so there are no surprises.
Install
Our crew mounts the sign at a time that suits your business, cleans up and walks you through the finished job.

Made properly, or not at all
Signs live hard lives. They sit in sun, rain and wind for years, get washed, get leaned on and get looked at from two feet away by people waiting in your lobby. We choose materials for where the sign will actually live, not for what is cheapest to stock.
Every piece is checked against the proof you approved before it leaves us. If it is not right, it does not go on your building.
Questions
Frequently asked
Cannot find what you need? Call 407-497-2376 or send a note with your quote request.
How much does a sign cost?
It depends on size, materials, whether it is illuminated and how it has to be installed, so we price every project individually. Send us the location and a rough size and we will give you an itemized quote showing where the money goes, with options at different budgets where they exist.
How long does it take?
Printed graphics, banners and window lettering are the quickest. Fabricated and illuminated signs take longer because they involve design approval, fabrication and often a permit. We give you a schedule with the quote and tell you straight away if your deadline is at risk.
Do I need a permit?
Most permanent exterior signs do, and most landlords have their own sign rules on top. Interior signs, window lettering and temporary banners usually do not, though some cities limit them. We check what applies to your address before we design anything.
How do I make sure my sign can be read?
Size the letters for the distance: a common rule of thumb is one inch of letter height for every ten feet of viewing distance. Use strong contrast between the letters and the background, and keep the message short. Most people give a sign about three seconds, so a name and one supporting line beats a list of services.
Which materials last longest outdoors?
It depends on the sign. Aluminum and aluminum composite panels are the usual choice for rigid outdoor signs because they do not rust or warp. Acrylic is used for illuminated faces and dimensional letters. For vehicles and windows, cast vinyl with a protective laminate holds up far better than cheaper films. We will recommend a material for your climate, your budget and how long the sign needs to last.
How often should signs be replaced or refreshed?
There is no fixed schedule. Walk your site once a year and look for fading, peeling edges, dead sections of lighting and anything that no longer matches your brand. A sign that looks tired makes the business behind it look tired, and a refresh usually costs far less than starting over.
I do not have a logo or artwork. Can you still help?
Yes. We can design a logo from scratch, redraw one you only have as a small image, or build a sign layout from your existing brand. Send whatever you have, even a phone photo or a sketch.
What files do you need from me?
Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF) are ideal because they scale to any size. If you only have a JPG or PNG, send it anyway. We will tell you if it is good enough and can redraw it if not.
Can you match my existing signs or other locations?
Yes. Send photos or the original specifications and we will match colours, materials and proportions as closely as possible. For multi-location businesses we keep your approved artwork on file so each new site matches the last.
Do you install, and where?
We install what we make. We serve Orlando and the Central Florida area; for projects further afield, ask and we will tell you what we can do.
