Monument and pylon signs
Freestanding signs for entrances, plazas and multi-tenant properties.
When your building sits back from the road, the sign on the wall is not enough. A freestanding sign at the entrance tells people where to turn before they have driven past.
Monument signs sit low to the ground on a solid base and suit offices, campuses, clinics and residential communities. Pylon signs stand tall on one or two posts and are built to be read from a moving car at a distance, which makes them the standard choice for plazas, dealerships and roadside businesses.
We design the structure and the faces together so the sign looks like it belongs to the building behind it, using matching materials, colours and proportions.

What to know before you order
Freestanding signs are the most regulated sign type. Height, face area and distance from the property line are usually set by local code, so the first step is finding out what your site allows.
New structures need a footing, and often an engineered drawing for the permit. If a sound structure is already standing, replacing the faces is far quicker and cheaper than starting again.
For multi-tenant signs, decide up front how panels will be changed when tenants move. A good panel system makes future changes a quick swap rather than a rebuild.
Design for the driver. Someone passing at road speed has a few seconds to read your sign, so lead with the name, keep supporting text to a minimum and use strong contrast between letters and background.
How it works
From first call to finished sign
Brief
Tell us about the space, the deadline and the budget. We ask questions, look at photos or visit the site, and send an itemized quote.
Design
Logo work if you need it, then a proof that shows the sign to scale on your actual building, with sizes, colours and materials called out.
Build
Once you approve the proof, we print, cut and fabricate. Nothing is produced before approval, so there are no surprises.
Install
Our crew mounts the sign at a time that suits your business, cleans up and walks you through the finished job.
