This policy covers VividLayers Printing ("VividLayers", "we", "us") and this website. It explains what information you give us, why we need it and who else sees it. If something here is unclear, ask us: the contact details are at the bottom of the page.
What we collect
When you send a quote request, you give us:
- your name, company, email address and phone number
- your industry, the kind of sign you are interested in and the project details you type in
When we work on a project together, we also keep the artwork, photos and site measurements you send or we take, the addresses we deliver to or install at, your billing contact, and our emails and notes about the job.
Card payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We see that a payment was made and its amount; we never see or store your full card number.
What the website records
- We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not set cookies on public pages.
- The only cookie is the sign-in cookie for our own staff on the admin pages.
- Your IP address is used for a few minutes to stop spam on the quote form. It is held in memory, not saved with your request.
- Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- to reply to you, prepare your quote and run your project
- to invoice you and keep the records tax and accounting rules require
- to keep your approved artwork on file, so a reorder or a new location matches the last one
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list. We only contact you about the work you asked us about.
Who we share it with
Only the people who need it to do the job:
- service providers that run our website, email and payments, under their own privacy terms
- landlords, permit offices and property managers, when your project needs their approval, and with your knowledge
- anyone the law requires us to share it with
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests so we can follow up on them and quote you again later; you can ask us to delete yours at any time. Project records, invoices and approved artwork are kept for as long as you are a customer and for as long as tax and accounting rules require after that.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will do it, unless we have to keep something by law, in which case we will tell you what and why.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
