These terms apply to every quote and order from VividLayers Printing ("VividLayers", "we", "us") and to your use of this website. Anything agreed in writing on your quote takes priority over this page. We work with businesses only, so these terms are written for business customers.
Quotes
- Every project is priced individually. Your quote is itemized and shows how long its prices hold.
- The price is based on the size, materials, location and installation described in the quote. If any of those change, we requote before we go further.
Ordering and payment
- You place an order by accepting your quote in writing and paying the deposit it shows.
- We start design work once the deposit has been paid.
- The balance is due when the quote or invoice says. We may hold delivery or installation until it is paid.
- Card payments are processed by Stripe. Other payment methods are listed on your invoice.
Proofs and approval
Before anything is produced, we send you a proof showing the sign to scale, with sizes, colours and materials called out. Nothing goes into production until you approve that proof in writing.
- Check the proof carefully: spelling, phone numbers, colours, sizes and placement.
- What you approve is what we build. A mistake in an approved proof is not a defect, and fixing it after production is charged as a reprint.
- Colours on a screen differ from colours on vinyl, acrylic or metal. If an exact match matters, ask for a printed sample before you approve.
Your artwork and content
By sending us logos, photos, text or other material, you confirm you have the right to use it on your signs. Logo and design work we create for you is yours once your project is paid in full, unless your quote says otherwise. Until then, proofs and design files remain ours.
Permits, landlords and site access
- We check what permits apply to your address and handle the application where your quote includes it.
- You are responsible for your landlord's approval and for giving us safe access to the site on the agreed date.
- Delays from permit offices, landlords or site access move the schedule. We tell you as soon as we know.
Installation
We install what we make, at a time agreed with you. If we find a condition at the site that the quote could not have allowed for, such as hidden wiring, a wall that cannot take the load or missing power, we stop, explain it and get your approval for any extra cost before continuing.
Schedules
The schedule in your quote is our best estimate. If your deadline is at risk, we tell you straight away and explain what can be done to meet it.
Cancellations, defects and refunds
How cancellations, reprints, refunds and disputes work is set out in ourrefund, cancellation and dispute policy.
Liability
Our total liability for a project is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost trade or profit. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

The information on this website is for general guidance and may change without notice. How we handle what you send us through it is described in our privacy policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state where VividLayers Printing is based (Orlando, FL). If a problem comes up, talk to us first; most are settled with a phone call.
