Wayfinding and ADA signs

Directories, room IDs and code-compliant signs that get people where they are going.

Good wayfinding is invisible. People arrive, find the right door and never think about how. Bad wayfinding costs your front desk hours every week in directions and late arrivals.

We plan signs as a system rather than one at a time: where a visitor enters, where they need to make a decision, and what they need to know at each point. The result is a consistent family of directories, directional signs and room identification that works from the parking lot to the last door.

Permanent room signs in buildings open to the public generally have to meet accessibility requirements, including raised lettering, braille, contrast and mounting height. We build to those requirements so your space passes inspection.

  • Directional and overhead signs
  • ADA room, restroom and exit signs with tactile text and braille
  • Parking, entrance and exterior wayfinding
  • Changeable name and room inserts
  • Stairwell, floor level and evacuation signs

  • Medical offices, clinics and hospitals
  • Schools, campuses and public buildings
  • Multi-tenant office buildings
  • Any new build or fit-out facing a final inspection

What to know before you order

Accessibility rules apply to specific sign types, mainly signs that identify permanent rooms and spaces. A sign plan identifies which of your signs need to comply and which can be purely decorative.

Send us a floor plan if you have one. Marking sign locations on a plan is the fastest way to get an accurate count and quote.

Rooms change. If names or occupants move often, ask for signs with changeable inserts so updates cost almost nothing.

How it works

From first call to finished sign

01

Brief

Tell us about the space, the deadline and the budget. We ask questions, look at photos or visit the site, and send an itemized quote.

02

Design

Logo work if you need it, then a proof that shows the sign to scale on your actual building, with sizes, colours and materials called out.

03

Build

Once you approve the proof, we print, cut and fabricate. Nothing is produced before approval, so there are no surprises.

04

Install

Our crew mounts the sign at a time that suits your business, cleans up and walks you through the finished job.
